# Transcript

> Transcript (transcript.land) turns a video or audio link into a clean,
> timestamped text transcript. It reads existing captions when a platform
> provides them, and automatically falls back to AI speech recognition when
> it doesn't — same response shape either way, so nothing downstream needs
> to know which path ran.

Supported sources: YouTube, TikTok, X, Instagram, Bilibili, Facebook, and
RedNote links, plus direct audio/podcast URLs and uploaded video/audio
files. Output formats: TXT, SRT, VTT, Markdown, and JSON. Transcripts are
timestamped at the segment level and available in any language the source
audio is spoken in.

Three ways to use it: a web app (paste a link, no install), a REST API, a
CLI (`brew install ziqorg/tap/transcript`), and an MCP server
(`https://transcript.land/mcp`, listed in the official MCP Registry) for
wiring transcription into Claude or another MCP client.

It does not do speaker diarization, translation, or summarization — it is
scoped to producing accurate, timestamped text from a video or audio
source.

- Free — $0/month, 15 minutes of video transcription per month, AI
  transcripts in any language, TXT/SRT/VTT/JSON export, 5 videos/minute.
- Pro — $10/month, 10 hours of video transcription per month, full REST API
  access, priority processing queue, 20 videos/minute.
- Ultra — $99/month, 200 hours of video transcription per month, batch up
  to 3 links at once, 50 videos/minute.
